Synopsis
已到中年的老李是某税务稽查所的业务骨干，他个性突出、在人们眼中自信得近乎夸张；由于身处一个敏感的险要位置，老李的生活渐渐显露出隐忧……老李的搭档税务刘对老李既怕又恨，在金钱面前，由于老李的存在他不敢轻举妄动，却常常心怀不轨；正被老李查核帐目的某公司老总田耕，在强大的利益驱动下与国税机关爆发了不可调和的矛盾，老李遭遇到前所未有的挑战……
