Synopsis
19世纪90年代，Yohan的父亲离开挪威前往美国，希望为家庭赚到更多的钱，年仅10岁的Yohan也想出了自己的办法补贴家用，然而Yohan的哥哥却背着父母，签署了一纸卖身契，从此Yohan成为了廉价的农场劳工。在农场里，Yohan当起了牧羊童，备受农场主的欺辱。他和小伙伴们相依为命，想方设法逃出魔爪。
