Synopsis
婉儿（闵春晓饰）出自一个家道中落的书香门第，从父母之命嫁进侯家，丈夫是侯家的二少爷荣之。荣之是一个顽劣的富家少爷，只知吃喝玩乐，新婚第一夜，就撇下婉儿出走，同交际花露露同居，偶尔回家，也是为了讨要钱财。侯家三少爷萱之（周帅饰）却与荣之秉性相反，为人忠厚善良，是个积极阳光的青年。他和婉儿都喜好文学，并因此在叔嫂的关系上多了一层感情。婉儿逐渐被萱之的文采和性格打动，以读者的名义给萱之写信，二人就此成了笔友。萱之也对这个笔友萌生爱意，却对嫂嫂的暗恋全然不知。
