Synopsis
山子（王文杰 饰）的父亲是一名经验老道的猎人，在父亲的耳濡目染之下，山子亦拥有了一身好枪法。日本人来了，血洗了山子的村庄，残忍杀害了山子的父母，就这样，年仅十六岁的少年成为了孤儿。某日，山子设下的陷阱里闯入了一个日本鬼子，山子抢了鬼子的枪，却被八路军战士们纷纷堵住。一番波折之后，山子加入了八路军。 本以为从军就能够打鬼子为父母报仇，但连长却缴了他的械，将他发配到炊事班跟着老胶东打下手。某日，连里接到了掩护大部队的任务，然而，这却是一个根本就不可能完成的任务，鬼子的突然入侵使连队陷入了苦战之中，仅剩的战士们包括山子在内被逼入了绝境，在生死存亡之际，老胶东舍身救了山子。
