Synopsis
桑吉那（卡琳娜·卡普 Kareena Kapoor 饰）一转眼就到了结婚的年纪，她的姐姐介绍了一个名叫普瑞姆（阿布舍克·巴强 Abhishek Bachchan 饰）的男子给她认识，普瑞姆来到了桑吉那的家乡，桑吉那的家人们热情的接待了他。刚开始，桑吉那对这个男人不以为意，但渐渐的，两人被彼此的魅力所吸引，双双坠入了情网之中。 在这个节骨眼上，桑吉那的姐姐打来了电话，她告诉桑吉那，真正的普瑞姆因为公司有事而无法前来，派来了公司里的主管先行和桑吉那见面。得知了这一真相，桑吉那的母亲希望女儿能够嫁给做老板的那个普瑞姆。之后，老板普瑞姆也来到了桑吉那家中。
