Synopsis
公元2300年，位于海里埃塔星域的军事王国对行星国家吉比宣战，由于实力差距悬殊，很快王国军队便得到了全面的胜利。但是，吉比的防卫大学士官候补生们接替下已投降政府未完成的使命，以有限的资金购买了宇宙战舰，并从此开始与王国展开了漫长的孤军奋战。为了得到购买战舰的费用和运转资金，候补生们与银河网络电视签约，将宇宙空间中的战斗向全世界进行实况转播。这种前所未有的电视节目引起了极大的轰动，候补生们一边与不断来犯的宇宙海盗作战，一边向着无法后退的战斗前进……
