Synopsis
妓女艾丽莎陷入困境后，以枕头闷死了自己三岁的女儿玛丽，并随后用手枪结束了自己的生命。然而，玛丽奇迹般地活了下来，并被送入一个公共救济机构。在孤儿院中长大的玛丽怀着对男人的仇恨，一直想找到她的父亲，将他视为导致母亲悲剧和自身不幸的罪魁祸首。
