Synopsis
太宗晚年，十四岁武媚入宫，直至十七岁那天，武媚在后花园，觉得如此生活虚度年华，决定逃跑，中途被捕，同时也引起太宗注意，着令她留在身边侍候，因祸得福，民谣说「唐三世之后，当属女主武王」。九王子晋见李治九王子为人忠厚老成。一次在御花园，太宗向他查问书画之事，一时语塞，幸武媚为她解围，两人彼此留下深刻印象。太宗病危，太子探病时，与武媚相遇，情不自禁，重病中的太宗目睹两人偷情，气愤而终。太子治即位为高宗。太宗生前所有的嫔妃除一部份陪葬外，武媚及其余的嫔妃发落承福寺出家。寺内一群艳丽动人的尼姑，更是寂寞难奈，无色无边......
