Synopsis
作为第80届威尼斯电影节的开幕片，《指挥官》这部“意式”大片给出了令人信服的答案。本片由曾以《我们的父亲》摘得威尼斯影帝的意大利戏骨皮耶尔弗兰切斯科·法维诺领衔主演，讲述了一个历史上真实发生的动人故事。法维诺饰演的意大利海军指挥官萨尔瓦托雷·托达罗在二战期间指挥潜艇“卡佩列尼号”击沉了敌对阵营的船只，却下令救助对方的船员，在他身上焕发着人性的光辉。另外值得一提的是布景团队耗时数月打造的等比例“卡佩列尼号”潜艇布景，不但让拍摄如虎添翼，更显银幕张力，也在威尼斯电影节斩获了一个最佳布景设计的独立奖项。
