Synopsis
1989年夏天，东德。亚当做裁缝，伊芙林做女招待。他们正计划一起度假，当伊芙琳发现亚当对她不忠时，她决定独自去度假。她跟随亚当去了匈牙利。随着与奥地利的边界逐渐缩小，匈牙利的一切都发生了变化。随着亚当和伊夫林决定在哪个世界——东方还是西方——他们想要建立幸福生活的新可能性的到来，世界的边界是开放的。亚当·德·伊夫林改编自英戈·舒尔茨的同名小说，被翻译成十多种语言。
