Synopsis
以美国南北战争结束后的中西部旷野为背景，描写德州的大牧场主人因南方经济萧条，决定与养子一起将大批牛群赶往北方的密苏里州贩卖。不料养子在半途中跟他翻脸，使这一趟跋涉千里的赶牛之旅更添艰难险阻。
