Synopsis
Bill（比尔帕克斯顿 饰）终于如愿以偿当上了州议员，可作为活在公众关注下的一夫多妻者所面临的危机和麻烦也带到了家庭内部，风波四起。Barb（珍妮特里普霍恩 饰）为了听从自己内心的真实呐喊决定退出自家的摩门教堂另寻信仰；Nicki（科洛塞维尼 饰）和女儿的矛盾无处不在，再加上conpound支离破碎的境况更令她进退两难；一波一未平一波又起，Marge（金妮佛古德温 饰）在压力之下终于向全家坦白自己和bill结婚的时候未成年，这一惊天的秘密让公众人物Bill面临因奸淫未成年少女的牢狱之灾；而假先知Alby为了维护自己在conpound的统治对Bill进行一再的陷害甚至想置之于死地......摩门教徒们究竟能否在犹他州树立合法的话语权？Alby能否如愿以偿继续统治Juniper Creek？三个妻子之间的爱与恨将把这个家庭的未来带往何处？结果似乎都是命中注定的.....
