Synopsis
唐·麦凯是一所中学的看门人，在一场悲剧后背井离乡。25年后，当他回到家乡时，又与老情人重新燃起了爱火，只是，老情人此时正遭受癌症的折磨，但不管怎么说，这次回家带给唐·麦凯的要比希望的多……一个略带惊悚意味的爱情故事，情节基调微微伤感，却在伤感中蕴藏着深厚的情感爆发力。影片的三位主演均为好莱坞的奥斯卡级人物，托马斯·哈登·丘奇曾凭借《杯酒人生》获得奥斯卡最佳男配角提名，伊丽莎白·苏和梅丽莎·里奥则分别凭借《远离赌城》和《冰冻之河》获得奥斯卡最佳女主角提名。
