Synopsis
清朝末年，朝廷外忧内患，急需聚集民心，激发人们的爱国热情拥护朝廷。慈禧太后为了宣扬国威、鼓励习武之风，在李鸿章的提议下决定举办一场举世瞩目的狮王争霸赛。 黄飞鸿携十三姨、徒弟梁宽进京与父亲黄麒英相叙，并协助开办“宝芝林药厂”事宜。在马家堡车站与黄飞鸿同行的十三姨遇见了老同学俄国人杜文奇，他表面在领事馆做翻译，实际上是一名间谍。后得知俄国人欲刺杀李鸿章，民族大义在前，毅然参加狮王大会，并成功救下李鸿章并说明治国策略的故事。
