Synopsis
开场是一个赌局。对赌双方是解珍、解宝兄弟和当地大佬毛仲义。其实，憨头憨脑的哥哥解珍只是压脚助阵，狡猾嗜赌的弟弟解宝才是主角。解宝以一块上好的和田玉作赌注，这孤注一掷却输赢未卜…… 开场很简短，故事到此转入过去进行时。 顾大嫂正让解珍等人痛打老和。顾大嫂开赌局兼放高利贷，解珍给她看场子。过路客老和赌光了盘缠，本想赖账，捱不过痛打，从身上摸出一块玉来，号称是珍稀的和田玉。顾大嫂半信半疑，暂且把玉收了，限令老和天黑之前拿钱来赎。
