Synopsis
Jon Katz是一名作家，他决定在家里已经有了两条狗的情况下，再收养一条并未经过任何训练的牧羊犬。自从这只牧羊犬来到家中，他就再没有过过一天安稳日子。因为饱受邻居的投诉和牧羊犬所带来的各种问题，他决定搬到郊区的一个旧农舍短暂生活，并继续写作。农舍附近的杂工见他和牧羊犬的相处存在如此大的问题，便介绍了一个有经验的养狗人给他。最终，在努力与牧羊犬培养信任的同时，他与家人的关系也在慢慢地改善……
