Synopsis
歌德里·布路特先生很富有，一天，他和维尔森·科拉德打赌，假如他身无分文，能在贫民区生活30天，就可得到科拉德的财产，否则他的财产就要归科拉德所有。因此，布路特开始过着流浪汉般的生活，历经千辛万苦，他终于战胜了自我，成功做到了这一点。最后，尝尽生活酸甜苦辣的歌德里·布路特终于懂得生活的意义，于是他决定掏出一大笔钱用来帮助那些饥寒交迫的贫民……
