Synopsis
八卦杂志「周刊East」工作的记者・真壁凯特。每天过着工作、爱情都超顺遂的日子。然而，某天只身扶养她长大的她母亲却突然去世。而她母亲临终前最后一句告诉她的话，是从未告诉过她的她生父的名字。而这个名字竟是一名无人不知的好莱坞大明星的名字。另外，每集故事也会涉及到与现代社会时事性很高的话题。不仅描述凯特做为记者的成长，也描述她做为人的成长。
