Synopsis
暑假，达娃回拉萨看望多年不见的姥爷和姥姥，正遇到姥爷病重、去世。在看护病人和料理丧事的过程中，姥姥益西卓玛给她讲述了自己曲折的一生，讲述了五十年来，她与三个男人的爱恨恩怨……益西卓玛老人一生的婚恋恩怨经历并不特别，在各民族、各时代的生活中常常都会遇到。但是，半个世纪以来西藏地区从农奴制到现代社会的巨大变迁，以及藏民族独特的宗教文化，对命运与轮回的信仰的人文精神，却使她的故事饱含了丰富、独特的审美价值。
