Synopsis
本片取材自真实事件。19世纪中叶的阿根廷，一个年轻的天主教信徒卡蜜拉跟一个耶稣教教士发生恋情，虽然两人都极力压抑自己内心的感情而陷入痛苦中，但终究卡蜜拉勇敢地走出第一步并收获短暂的幸福。但他们的结合破坏了家庭和教会的清规戒律，遭到当局的追捕。在逃亡数百里后不幸被捕，后被处死。
