Synopsis
瓦娃是一个7岁的傈僳族孩子，他对于姐姐娜香每天能和小伙伴一起溜索过江读书好生羡慕。妈妈坚持要娃娃等爸爸回来带着才可以溜索。可是在外打工的爸爸总也不回。 终于，没能抵抗住来自对岸的诱惑，瓦娃独自偷偷溜索过江了，看到了心仪已久的学校！没想到，瓦娃溜索过江的秘密居然被第一次来家访的聂老师戳破了！是聂老师送来的那双红雨鞋把瓦娃留在了家里。 他答应妈妈和姐姐：有了这双鞋，他就不再偷着溜索。 第二天一早，懂事的瓦娃又把这双漂亮雨鞋还给了姐姐。 日子就这样平静地过着。谁也想不到，因为赶着给弟弟送一双新鞋回来，姐姐娜香失手从溜索上坠落江中……
