Synopsis
和子（邬君梅暂无内容饰）小时候每次生日，父亲就会用毛笔蘸上红颜料在她脸上写字，这给和子留下极深刻的印象，她从此认定写在身体上的书法才是唯一的书法。加上自幼接受文学熏陶，内心有着自己独立的想法，却迫于现实中父权的权威而无法尽情释放自我。亦因为难以明白她对自我的追寻是寓于对暂无内容文学暂无内容的痴迷中，和子的第一段婚姻以失败收场。其后她去了香港，在那里她认识了出版商和他的同性恋情人谢朗（伊万·麦克格雷格暂无内容Ewan暂无内容McGregor暂无内容饰），谢朗鼓励她在自己身上写字，和子就此创作《枕草子》，每写满一遍为一卷，每写完一卷，谢朗就去找出版商，把身上的字给出版商看。而后和子却因受不了谢朗冷落对他避而不见，谢朗为夺回和子，决定以死相逼。
