Synopsis
丹尼（亚当·桑德勒 Adam Sandler 饰）年轻时经历了一场失败的恋爱，深感被女人欺骗的他偶然间发现了婚戒的妙用，从此伪装成已婚男人四处逢场作戏。多年后丹尼已是一名成功的整形医生，他在一次派对上认识了美丽的女孩帕莫尔（布鲁克琳·黛克 Brooklyn Decker 饰），两人一夜定情。次日醒来，发现了婚戒的帕莫尔误以为丹尼已婚，表示要退出复杂的关系。为挽留心仪的女孩丹尼只得再次编造谎言，并央求医院的助手凯瑟琳（詹妮弗·安妮斯顿 Jennifer Aniston 饰）扮演即将与自己离婚的妻子。 只是谎言如同雪球般越滚越大，凯瑟琳的两个孩子、丹尼的兄弟艾迪等人都被卷入其中。当一行人来到夏威夷度假并遇上凯瑟琳的死对头德芙琳（妮可·基德曼 Nicole Kidman 饰）后，失控的事态朝着意外的方向发展了……
