Synopsis
前NFL（美国职业橄榄球联盟）球员史蒂夫·格里森在年仅34岁时，被诊断出患有肌萎缩性侧索硬化症。过了两礼拜后，他的妻子发现自己怀上了宝宝，格里森开始每天用影像记录，镜头记录下儿子的诞生，格里森夫妇的生活，也记录下了格里森的病情发展。随着孩子的出生和长大，格里森却越来越虚弱，直到颈部以下完全瘫痪，同时丧失了说话的能力。
