Synopsis
西蒙是考古学家，一次在法国南部指挥一个项目时，遇见了可爱的伊丽莎白，两人一见钟情，一起度过了两个月的甜蜜日子。后来西蒙突然痉挛，似乎死去，但又奇迹般地活了过来。伊丽莎白开始沉思生与死的问题。他是从来世回来的吗？那短暂的死亡究竟意味着什么？西蒙不想接受治疗，他俩跟另一对朋友讨论起这件事。对方是神职人员，对于自杀有强烈的宗教观点。
