Synopsis
樊家树认识了歌女沈凤喜, 见她资质聪颖, 于是助她求学, 且负责她一家的生活费. 数月下来, 两人互生情愫. 树重遇艺人秀姑, 得知其父关寿峰病重, 义救父女. 为报答家树, 峰有意把秀许配. 树婉谢, 告知已有心上人, 并托两人在他回乡探母时照顾喜, 秀顿感失落.喜深爱树, 却被横行霸道的刘大帅强抢为妾. 喜被污辱, 树毫不介意, 与喜相约逃亡. 大帅得知, 把喜打得半死, 喜因不堪蹂躏致精神失常. 秀设法混入大帅府, 与父里应外合, 刺杀大帅, 助喜与树再续前缘.
