Synopsis
应是举家同欢的新婚之夜，新郎与新娘却彻夜不见踪影。未久，绑架恐吓如恶梦袭来，赎金之高令人绝望，在家族工坊勉力谋生的姊姊，完全无力负担。然而，为了挚爱胞弟与家族颜面，她必须在有限时间用尽一切手段，在传统封闭的犹太部落筹措救命之财……。师事俄国大师苏古诺夫的导演巴拉果夫，改编家乡真实故事，运用特别比例景框巧妙表现人际间的远近亲疏，穿越宗教传统与政治现实的沉痾，不停叩问心中的家庭核心价值：自我牺牲。
