Synopsis
弗莱切（金•凯瑞 Jim Carrey 饰）是个知名的大律师，为获得官司的胜利，他练就一身颠倒是非、扭转黑白的本领，那就是，谎话连连。说慌已经成为了弗莱切的本能反应，就连面对妻子和5岁的儿子麦克斯（Justin Cooper 饰）时都是如此。妻儿也早已习惯了他的作风。 这天，是麦克斯的生日，弗莱切又因事不能来。弗莱切自然又满口谎言编造各种借口。失望的弗莱切许下了他的生日愿望：父亲有一天不能说谎了。神奇的事情发生了！弗莱切真的不能说谎了，他因此洋相连连：差点输掉官司、得罪上司……陷入空前混乱的弗莱切最终如何面对这一切？
