Synopsis
故事讲述了梅海涛是一个十分孝顺的农家子弟，大学毕业后和城里姑娘杜鹃结婚。杜鹃十分看不起来自乡下的婆婆宋莲花，总是白眼相待。通过婆婆忍辱负重的感人行动和参加传统文化论坛，杜鹃深受教育，思想发生了彻底的转变。树欲静而风不止，子欲孝而亲不待。婆婆宋莲花因劳累过度，突然病重经抢救无效撒手人寰。杜鹃悔恨交加，痛不欲生。
