Synopsis
故事发生在普罗旺斯的一个小村庄，村民们经常争吵不休。新来的面包师艾马布勒·卡斯塔尼尔搬进村里后，村民们都松了一口气，因为他们已经很久没吃到优质的面包了。艾马布勒年轻得多的妻子奥蕾莉·卡斯塔尼尔很快就离开了丈夫，投奔了一位英俊的年轻牧羊人。没有了她，艾马布勒的生活很痛苦，他再也无法专心烘焙。在一次镇民大会上，村民们决定派出巡逻队去寻找奥蕾莉。这对宿敌决定放下分歧，以确保村里有面包和其他烘焙食品。
