Synopsis
根据贵州苗族民间传说改编。 很久以前，在苗族聚居的贵州清水江边，有个勤劳美丽的牧鹅姑娘蔓萝，与青年猎手阿倒约相爱着。在一个传统的跳花节之夜，他俩以舞传情，互赠信物，订下终身之约。恶霸地主黑大扬是个好色之徒，看见蔓萝秀丽姿色，顿时心起歹念，调戏蔓萝。姑娘们和众猎手见他不怀好意，群起保护蔓萝。黑大扬慑于群众的不满情绪，不敢贸然下手，只得悻悻离去。蔓萝与阿倒约新婚之日，两家一片喜气洋洋，蔓萝全身盛装等待阿倒约上门迎亲。黄昏时分，黑大扬竟派狗腿子和打手，赶在阿倒约之前，打着迎亲的红灯，突然来到蔓萝家抢亲。蔓萝
