Synopsis
达伦·山（Chris Massoglia 饰）是一个学业优秀、青春阳光的高中生，他在学校人缘极好，且拥有幸福美满的家庭，因此被朋友们称为“完美先生”。某日，一张宣传单改变了他的生活走向。一个囊括了各种怪异事物的奇趣马戏团来到他所在的镇上，虽然父母老师禁止，不过达伦依旧和痴迷吸血鬼的好友史蒂夫（Josh Hutcherson 饰）偷偷前去观看。闻所未闻的奇人怪事令两个男孩兴奋不已，而吸血鬼拉登·克雷斯利（John C. Reilly 饰）和他的剧毒蜘蛛的登场则让他们备受触动。演出结束后，达伦偷了蜘蛛，因无法成为吸血鬼而心存愤恨的史蒂夫杀蜘蛛不成反中剧毒，危在旦夕。为了拯救好友，达伦不得不化身半吸血鬼成为拉登的助手。他由此开始经历一场奇幻之旅…… 本片根据爱尔兰小说家Darren Shan的同名作品改编。
