Synopsis
江南桃李镇的一个小山村里，童飞在父亲病故后，决定放弃高三的学业。妈妈为了让童飞完成学业，只身外出打工。开学前，妈妈怀揣着学费冒着雷雨匆匆赶回家，不幸遭受雷击痛失右臂。为了让童飞安心读书，妈妈隐瞒病情，住在童飞老师梅儿的家中。从此，妈妈靠路头擦皮鞋继续供童飞读书，而不知情的童飞，认为妈妈真的没回来，始终不忍心花妈妈辛苦挣的钱，在发奋读书的同时，课余靠种田、打工支撑自己的生活和学业。高考结束，童飞取得优异的成绩，妈妈露出的欣慰的笑容。
