Synopsis
本片故事发生在明朝嘉靖年间，那时倭寇泛滥、海贼肆虐，南方沿海地区的百姓苦不堪言。本片以抗倭名将俞大猷为主角，讲述了青年时期的俞大猷识破倭寇与海贼的诡计，勇敢与之斗争，保卫民众和大明疆土的故事，表达了强烈的爱国主义情怀和浓烈的民族自豪之感。在本故事中，少年俞大猷经历了从稚嫩到成熟的蜕变，年少时的俞大猷只想名扬天下，做一名大侠，在与海贼、倭寇的斗争中，他逐渐明白了人生的意义，所谓侠之大者，当为国为民。长剑所指，当匡扶天下。
