Synopsis
故事发生在第二次世界大战期间，英国士兵埃里克（科林·费斯 Colin Firth 饰）被日军俘虏，被押送往泰缅铁路做劳工。埃里克偷偷藏起了一台无线电，通过收听电台，他得知日本在战争中早已经是强弩之末，蹦跶不了多久了，他和他的战友们就这样依靠着这一点点的慰藉和希望坚强的活了下来。
